I live in a small village in the Suffolk countryside with my Husband Jonny, and our two Labradors! I was introduced to fishing when I was 17, and after catching my first pike I remember thinking I quite like this fishing thing! I turned my hand to fly tying after a visit into a fishing shop in New Zealand, I then moved onto fly fishing and have never looked back.

I have been very fortunate over the last few years to have travelled to some fabulous countries in search of different species to target, and also was lucky to take part in a BBC TV show fishing my way to the semi-final.
I mostly spend my time looking for pike from my Kayak in the rivers near my home, where my husband and I guide. In the summer I head over to Norway to manage a Salmon lodge for the season.

I am pretty passionate about conservation and also about encouraging more women to get involved in fishing.

My fly tying is a big part of my life and I will try to squeeze in as much as I can around my busy life, I enjoy tying salmon and seatrout flies when I’m away in Norway, but mainly spend my time tying pike and salt water flies.
