I used to play the French horn in the Fenice Orchestra before becoming a chef and running my own restaurant in Venice. Being life always unpredictable, I’m now a wine merchant in Dublin and travel the world working as a private chef to Hollywood stars and European Royals.
I tried fly fishing on a balmy Spring Sunday of many years ago and I was instantly hooked (and way before I hooked anything else…). and tying my own flies came as a natural succession. I like tying forgotten traditional Irish patterns, as well as experimenting with new design and materials.
