My home is in the small community Stenkullen, half an hours drive northeast of Gothenburg in Sweden. I live on the banks of a nice brown trout stream called Saveån.
For more than 25 years I worked as a newspaper photographer at Swedens second largest newspaper, but last fall I started a new life. At the moment I freelance, writing articles and photographing. I also work with layout as art director for the fly fishing magazine Allt om Flugfiske together with my good friend Johan Klingberg.
My fly fishing have taken me all over the world to hunt for trout, aside from Scandinavia, the British Isles was an early love.
I have spent a total of 13 months in New Zeeland and over the last twelve years I’ve spent between 3 and 5 weeks in the U.S fishing, mostly in Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming and Utah.
My fly tying reflects my fishing, with emphasis on easy to tie dry flies and nymphs in sizes from 10 down to 24. The inspiration comes from other fly tiers as well as observations made on the water. I also work with conservation of local streams since I strongly believe that we need to give something back to this fantastic sport.
