Mike Townend
Hello my name is Mike Townend and I live and work in Aberdeen.
I have been an amateur tier since the age of 12. I went to Stoke 3 years ago and watched Mr Chute and Mr Dunn produce some beautiful classic flies. I then decided that I would like to try this form of tying.
I have now been tying classics for two years solid. In my first year I came second and won a silver medal in the classic fly tying forum competition.
I regularly tie 2 to 3 flies a week so I can sharpen up my skills and work with materials. If you would like to drop in by I would be pleased to see you.
