I have been tying flies for about 20 years, I started tying just for myself but as time went on and additions to the family meant less time to go fishing.
I started to tie a lot more and eventually semi professionally, I mainly tie traditional Irish lake patterns, I also enjoy tying Spey flies and Carrie Stevens streamers when I get the time.
I have tied at shows in the UK and the USA, this will be my 4th time to tie at the BFFI which is a show that I enjoy very much and with the new venue this year will be even better. I am looking forward to meeting up with some old friends and hopefully make some new ones.
