Brough Hand Made Rods

Brough Hand Made Rods was established in April 2000. For many years I had built rods for friends and family but the acquisition of a cane miller made it possible for me to build commercially. The cane is still being split and worked by hand prior to milling enabling us to produce fine split cane of any taper. We produce mainly bespoke rods to customers requirements, which includes tapers from builders of the past, but we do have an extensive range of our own tapers. Reel seats and handles are all made in house enabling us to maintain continuity and quality. We are a very small and dedicated manufacturer and are always willing to talk rods on a personal basis.
